Rose Mandarin White is a blended white tea that brings together three ingredients: aged white tea from 2012, mandarin peels aged since 2016 (chen pi from Xinhui, Guangdong), and rose petals. The aged mandarin peel is the star here — Xinhui chen pi is prized in Chinese tea and medicine for its citrus depth, and eight years of ageing has given these peels a rich, sweet quality.
The combination works because each ingredient does something different: the aged white tea provides a smooth, rounded base; the chen pi adds citrus complexity and a warm undertone; and the rose petals bring a light floral finish. It's a layered tea that reveals more as you brew through multiple infusions.
How it tastes
Citrus-forward with a smooth body and a sweet finish. The mandarin peel dominates the first infusion, then the white tea base comes through more in later steeps. The rose is subtle — it's there in the background, adding a gentle floral note rather than taking over.
A note from Joanne: "I've included this in our Evening Sampler Pack because it's one of those reliable evening cups. The aged chen pi has a warming quality that works well after dinner, and the caffeine is low enough that it doesn't keep me up."

I am very impressed with both the service and products. This is my first time I have ordered anything, and will definitely be returning. Many thanks, and congratulations.
I'm very happy with the samples sizes in the Sampler pack, as it enables me to share cups with friends and family to find out what their particular preferences are. Many thanks.
Purchased these at a market on holidays in Tassie several years ago, having been ordering ever since! My whole family love the dragon pearls, beautiful green tea and pretty to watch open up.

Well you will have to taste it yo believe it. A must if you want something to remember tassie.
My first time using matcha at home. Full of flavour and beautiful in colour. A sensory delight.
Great for whisking matcha. I am a novice but am excited to be learning and using high quality tea supplies from a moment of tea.
Lovely light weight for mixing and pouring matcha
I followed the Gongfu brewing instructions and this was the most lovely tea. I loved the change is taste as you went through the brews.
