Tea for Immune Support

White tea goes through the least processing of any tea type — the leaves are simply withered and dried. This minimal handling is what gives white tea its naturally high antioxidant content, and it's a big part of why white tea has been valued in Chinese wellness traditions for generations.

Most of this collection is white tea, and that's by design. Our Aged White Tea 2012 has had over a decade to develop — there's a saying in Chinese tea culture that aged white tea is "as good as medicine," and while we can't make medical claims, the mellow sweetness and warming character of this tea speaks for itself. One of our regular customers mentioned they often drink it after dinner and it never bothers their sleep.

For something fresher, Wild White Peony 2025 and Gong Mei White Tea 2020 are both approachable starting points. The Yunnan Black Tea (Dian Hong) rounds out the collection as a full-bodied option that's also traditionally associated with warming the body during cooler months.

Pop into our Tea Bar at Salamanca to taste through these — it's the easiest way to find one that fits.
