Caffeine-Free Teas Collection

5 products

Caffeine-free teas are herbal and flower teas made without Camellia sinensis — the plant that gives green, black, white, and oolong teas their caffeine. With these, you're getting truly zero caffeine, not "low" or "reduced." They suit customers who are avoiding caffeine, including evening drinkers. If you're pregnant, managing a medical condition, or avoiding specific herbs, check with your healthcare professional before choosing herbal teas.

Our Sweet Rose Dew is the most popular one in this range — whole rosebuds that steep into a light, fragrant cup. Freeze Dried Osmanthus Flower Tea has a subtle stone-fruit sweetness that's quite different from Western herbal teas. And our Blooming Flower Tea includes pure flower varieties such as Lily, Chrysanthemum, and Mixed Flower. Those are dried blossoms only, with no tea leaves. Some other blooming tea variants include green or black tea and have light caffeine, so choose the pure-flower options if you're avoiding caffeine.

We also carry Aged Mandarin Peel (Chen Pi) from 2016, a traditional Chinese citrus peel with a warm character that deepens with age. It brews well on its own or mixed with other teas.

If you don't mind a small amount of caffeine, our low caffeine collection has white teas and aged pu-erh with about 10–30mg per cup. For evening-friendly choices, see our evening tea or sleep and calm collections. And if you'd like to smell or taste any of these before buying, you're welcome at our Tea Bar in Hobart's Salamanca Art Centre.
