In Chinese tea culture, certain teas have been enjoyed after meals for centuries. Pu-erh tea — a post-fermented tea from Yunnan — is one of the best known in that setting. Its fermentation gives the tea an earthy, smooth character that many people enjoy after rich or heavy food.
We've built this collection around that tradition. You'll find several pu-erh options here, from our Tasmanian Lavender Puerh, awarded at the 2025 Royal Tasmanian Fine Food Awards, to the earthy, full-bodied Fossil Pu-erh. We've also included Aged Mandarin Peel (Chen Pi), which is traditionally used as an after-meal infusion, and Tasmanian Mint Green Tea, a refreshing mint-and-green-tea blend.
If you're in Hobart, come try these at our Tea Bar in Salamanca Art Centre. We can walk you through which one might suit your routine — whether that's an after-dinner tea or something to sip throughout the day.
