Three loose samples and one blooming flower ball, all caffeine-free. None of these come from the tea plant — they're flowers and aged citrus peel, so you can drink any of them right up to bedtime.

What's included

  • Sweet Rose Dew (5g) — Whole rose petals with a honey-sweet floral character. Traditionally enjoyed as an evening tea in Chinese households.
  • Aged Mandarin Peel (Chen Pi) (5g) — Aged in Xinhui, Guangdong since 2016. Traditionally taken after heavy meals.
  • Freeze Dried Osmanthus (2.5g) — Golden osmanthus from Guilin, unsulfured. Gently floral with apricot and honey notes. Freeze-dried flowers are concentrated, so 0.7g is enough for a cup — 2.5g still makes about three cups.
  • Pure Chrysanthemum Blooming Flower (1 ball) — A hand-tied chrysanthemum bloom that opens in hot water. Light and clean — if you like chamomile, this will feel familiar.

Caffeine note

All four are caffeine-free. If you're cutting out coffee or caffeine — by choice or on doctor's advice — this pack lets you try four different evening cups without giving anything up.

Joanne's tip

Brew the chrysanthemum bloom in a glass teapot or a tall glass if you have one — watching it open is half the point. Many of our customers use this sampler to build their own after-dinner ritual: try one each evening for a week, and you'll notice which one your evening reaches for.

Each sample gives you 2-3 brewing sessions; break the chrysanthemum bloom into quarters — each quarter makes a 400ml pot with 2-3 infusions. Brewing instructions for each tea are included. Ships from our Hobart Tea Bar, Australia-wide.
