Stone Double Frog Spitting Tea Pet
Interactive Yixing Purple Clay with Water-Spitting Function
Meet your playful frog tea pet - this delightful spitting tea pet features two charming frogs perched on a smooth stone base, bringing interactive joy to every tea session through their clever water-spitting display. In Chinese tea culture, frog tea pets symbolise prosperity and abundance, and this spitting tea pet uses thermal expansion principles by artisans for centuries.
The Transformation Timeline:
- First 2-8 weeks: Hot tea immediately darkens the clay, gradually becoming permanent

Tea Pet Care
Daily Tea Sharing: Place your frog tea pet on your tea tray, in a separate bowl, or on your tea waste bowl for easy pouring. Pour leftover hot tea over your tea pet during each session. Stick to the same tea type for consistent colour development.
Activating the Spitting Function: To enjoy the water-spitting feature, first rinse with hot water, then immediately submerge in cool water for 5-10 minutes. Remove and pour hot tea over the frogs - they'll create delightful water arcs! Please note: Approximately 95% of spitting tea pets function successfully. Occasionally, individual pieces may not spit water - they still make beautiful traditional tea pets for daily feeding and transformation.
Simple Maintenance: If tea stains build up, gently brush with soft bristles and warm water. Never use soap - the tea oils create the beautiful transformation.
Watch the Changes: Your tea pet's colour and texture will reflect your tea drinking habits. Oolong creates rich amber-brown tones, while pu-erh develops deeper, earthier colours. Over months, the surface becomes smooth and lustrous - like polished wood.
A Thoughtful Gift
This playful spitting tea pet works well for tea enthusiasts who enjoy interactive elements, families with children who'll love the water surprise, or anyone wanting a unique addition to their tea practice.

My friend purchased this tea on a recent trip to Tasmania and had me try some. I purchased my own that very day. This tea is a hug in a cup. A tea for the soul. The lavender is not overpowring but is there enough to know it is a lavender tea. No matter how long you steep it for, it does not go bitter. My absolute favourite tea i have ever tried.
Tasmanian Huon Green Tea
Got this beautiful tea pot for my birthday - with soul, personality and brilliant functionality - I very much recommend this teapot! It’s a great size for 1 or 2 and the glass strainer works so well and is easy to clean. Not to mention, the customer service (according to my mum who bought it for me) has been extremely accomodating and the people extra kind. Thanks!!!
The rice accord in this has me obsessed - such a smooth, rich, and cozy experience! I haven't come across anything else like this is Hobart.
Every detail - from the tea itself to the packaging and shop - feels so intentional and thoughtfully crafted.
I'm sure all the other teas are just as lovely, can't wait to try them all!
I have not received my tea!!!!
I absolutely the Jasmine Dragon Pearls/ Buddhas Tears. I have a very sensitive tummy and often struggle to unwind after a long workday. With this amazing tea , it’s such so tasteful and light and ooh so refreshing and relaxing. I’ve tried so many different teas but this is my all time favourite.
This is probably one of my favourite teas, so delicious!
Good quality product but the container cover needs improvement., easily loose and not air tight .
I'd never thought to combine Puerh with lavender, but this makes for a very soothing flavour combination. The calming lavender and earthy puerh feels very 'Tasmanian'. I'm looking forward to trying more teas here.
Such a lovely, sweet, smooth tea.
