This 700ml glass teapot is designed to show off blooming flower teas — hand-tied tea bundles that open up into flower shapes when steeped in hot water. The round, clear body is inspired by Song Dynasty teapot shapes and gives you a full view from every angle.

Product details

  • Capacity: 700ml
  • Material: Heat-resistant borosilicate glass
  • Infuser: Built-in glass infuser (removable)
  • Shape: Round, Song Dynasty-inspired

The infuser holds the tea bundle in the centre of the pot so you can watch it bloom. Once it's fully open, you can lift the infuser out and display the flower in the glass body. The 700ml size is generous — enough for two or three people, or a long solo session with refills.

This works well for

  • Blooming flower teas — the whole point is watching them open
  • Sharing tea with guests who are new to loose-leaf — it's a conversation starter
  • Any loose-leaf tea where you want to see the leaves (green, white, herbal)

Joanne's tip

One of our customers told us: "This teapot is so beautiful to look at and lovely to use." That's exactly what it's for — put a blooming tea inside, pour hot water, and sit back. I keep one at our Tea Bar and it always draws people in. If you want to give it as a gift, pair it with a box of blooming teas for a set that's ready to use straight away.

Care

Borosilicate glass is heat-resistant and safe for boiling water. Hand wash with warm water — the glass is dishwasher safe but hand washing keeps it clearer for longer. The removable infuser makes cleaning straightforward.
