Tasmanian Huon Green Tea is grown in Tasmania's Huon Valley — all-natural, pesticide-free, and harvested in spring and summer. It has a refreshing, delicate flavour with grassy notes and a clean finish. If you're in Tasmania and want to drink something local, or you're visiting and want to take home a Tasmanian-grown tea, this is the one.

How does it taste

Grassy and delicate, with a clean, refreshing character. Lighter and gentler than Chinese or Japanese greens — no bitterness, no astringency. The grassy note is its signature. It brews to a pale yellow-green liquor.

Brewing guide

Use 2 teaspoons per 500ml teapot. Water at 80°C — if you don't have a thermometer, let boiled water sit for about 3 minutes. Steep for 3 minutes. Good for 2 infusions.

Joanne's note

This is our local green tea — grown right here in Tasmania. The flavour is gentler than Chinese or Japanese greens, with a grassy character that comes from the Huon Valley's cool climate and clean air. I find it works well as a morning or early afternoon tea, and it pairs nicely with light food.
