Glass teapot with removable infuser, 450ml

This is a 450ml borosilicate glass teapot with a removable glass infuser, sized for one person who wants several cups or two people sharing. It's the larger version of our 280ml Qinzhong pot: the same bell-shaped body, amber glass handle and dark red lid knob, with a tall infuser cylinder that lifts out for rinsing and drops back in for the next brew.

The infuser filters through a plate of fine laser-drilled holes in its base. Pour the whole infusion off each time and the leaves are ready to go again, so you get short, repeated infusions from a single pot. Or lift the infuser out when the tea is as strong as you like and let it sit. Glass doesn't hold flavour, so one pot does for every tea in the cupboard.

Caring for your glass teapot

• Lift the infuser out and rinse it soon after use so leaves don't dry onto the filter plate
• Hand wash in warm water; skip abrasive cleaners
• Avoid going from cold to boiling in one step
• Small bubbles or tool marks in the glass are normal for hand-formed borosilicate, and each pot differs slightly
