Story of Dragon Well (Longjing):
Has been enjoyed by emperors and royalty for centuries, Dragon Well, also known as Longjing, is still considered one of China's finest green teas. The name of the tea comes from the Dragon Well, a natural spring in the region. According to legend, a dragon lived in the well, protecting the area and bestowing good fortune upon the villagers. Dragon Well is known for its unique flat, sword-shaped leaves and jade green colour, resulting from a special pan-firing process that preserves its freshness and flavour. Our collection of Dragon Well is hand-picked from the first flush before Qingming which is considered the best harvest time for premium teas, and processed with great care, resulting in a tea that is sweet and nutty with a mellow, buttery finish!

I bought a range of tea samples from A moment of tea online. The prompt service is exceptional. The teas are the perfect size to try before you buy. So far I have not been disappointed. I will definitely be purchasing the bigger sizes in the near future. Here's to quality tea and the joy it brings.
My first can was bought from the Hobart Tea Bar, and I loved it so much that I had to buy another one. Just received it today. Beautiful packaging and the taste is still fantastic. If you love green tea, you must try this!
Now I understand why this green tea is so famous. The taste is incredibly good and fresh. It's a must-try for everyone!
I've been drinking Jasmine Dragon Pearls for years, but after finding Dragon Well at the Hobart Tea Shop, I'm hooked. This has become my new favourite green tea!

from 99 reviewsMy favourite tea. Tastes like the tea I used to buy in China.
Tasmanian Huon Green Tea
Rose Mandarin White
Aged White Tea 2012 (Lao Bai Cha)
My friend purchased this tea on a recent trip to Tasmania and had me try some. I purchased my own that very day. This tea is a hug in a cup. A tea for the soul. The lavender is not overpowring but is there enough to know it is a lavender tea. No matter how long you steep it for, it does not go bitter. My absolute favourite tea i have ever tried.
Tasmanian Huon Green Tea
Got this beautiful tea pot for my birthday - with soul, personality and brilliant functionality - I very much recommend this teapot! It’s a great size for 1 or 2 and the glass strainer works so well and is easy to clean. Not to mention, the customer service (according to my mum who bought it for me) has been extremely accomodating and the people extra kind. Thanks!!!
The rice accord in this has me obsessed - such a smooth, rich, and cozy experience! I haven't come across anything else like this is Hobart.
Every detail - from the tea itself to the packaging and shop - feels so intentional and thoughtfully crafted.
I'm sure all the other teas are just as lovely, can't wait to try them all!
I have not received my tea!!!!
I absolutely the Jasmine Dragon Pearls/ Buddhas Tears. I have a very sensitive tummy and often struggle to unwind after a long workday. With this amazing tea , it’s such so tasteful and light and ooh so refreshing and relaxing. I’ve tried so many different teas but this is my all time favourite.
This is probably one of my favourite teas, so delicious!
Good quality product but the container cover needs improvement., easily loose and not air tight .
I'd never thought to combine Puerh with lavender, but this makes for a very soothing flavour combination. The calming lavender and earthy puerh feels very 'Tasmanian'. I'm looking forward to trying more teas here.
Such a lovely, sweet, smooth tea.
