This 200ml gongdao cup is made from black-tinted heat-resistant glass with a handleless design. The larger 200ml capacity suits 200ml teapots — if you're using one of our Yixing teapots or a bigger gaiwan, this is the matching size.

The black tint adds a visual contrast on a tea tray, and still lets you see the colour of the tea through the glass. Like all our gongdao cups, this one is tested for a smooth, drip-free pour.

This works well for

  • Pairing with a 200ml Yixing teapot for gongfu sessions
  • Sharing tea with one or two people — pour into the gongdao cup, then into individual cups
  • Tea tray setups where you want a darker, more understated look

Care

Rinse with hot water after each use. The tinted glass doesn't affect flavour. Hand wash for best results.

If you love tea or even like it this is the place to experience tea and all it conveys in a beautiful, serene setting. While in Tasdie in January 2026 I had the pleasure of being able to visit my favourite tea shop. The experience did not disappoint. The service is exceptional and the tea. Well you will have to taste it yo believe it. A must if you want something to remember tassie.
